This project was created via the brief set by the Asian Arts Agency to bring them into digital realm. With this, we responded by creating an experience within ALTspace which spans across 7 worlds that hosted their homepage, 360 documentaries, club, artist information, galleries, live performance recordings and more. 

 

Working closely with the agency we wanted to portray the event they hosted 'Breaking Barriers' which saw multiple artists take to the stage to record a digital performance to share to their audiences during the Covid-19 lockdowns. We created a documentary as well as captured each performance, both within 360.

 

Wanting to push the barriers beyond the performance and bring them into the digital world, the 7 worlds were created. These acted similarly to pages on a website and a vision of how social media pages could look within the metaverse. Each space was created to represent the media it would be hosting, with representations of their location in Bristol and beyond.
